Vermont. After three generations, Crowley Cheese continues to make
one of the finest cheeses in America. The same recipe over all those
years has weathered time and been a great test of its quality.
The reason for Vermont's rich history
in cheese making dates back to this bygone era of dairy farms and dairy
farmers. Since refrigeration was yet to be invented, these farmers were
not able to store their surplus milk, and they would wisely bring their
surplus milk to the nearest, local cheese maker to make something out
of
it - cheese!
